Oh wow... I knew Ian Moore was good, but he was way beyond good lastnight. Hopmonk Tavern in Sebastapol, CA.... Thank You. Ian Moore and the band that he just met, Thank You. What an awesome display of professional music. These guys were like they had been saying together for a long time. A guitar enthusiast myself, I was just blown away by Iam Moores techniques, his vocals and his fret work. Not to mention. His custom Stratocaster body with a tiger stripes Telli neck. My buddy and I were right in front of him (dos longhairs), and Ian Moore's entire performance was off the charts... fabulous entertainer, showman, gentleman. Rock n Roll, look it up. What a class act.
Ian Moore (and Cullen) were excellent last night. I hadn't seen a show done acoustically and it just doesn't get any better than that. If you haven't seen what Ian can do with an acoustic guitar, you're missing out. His voice with or without the mich are strong, full and soulful, joyful, intense and sensual. In between songs he tells the backstory of some songs and It makes me feel the song in a way I had before.
Poor David's Pub is great. Reminds me of the original Antone's in Austin. It's all about the music and that's the coolest.
See Ian Moore when he comes back through the
ext-- there is a next time in March so keep an eye out.
I always love seeing Ian play. I have seen him more than 100 times since the '90s. The sound quality last night was disappointing. We could not hear his lovely voice at all...only guitar. I talked to sound guy 3 times and he said it was because we were on the front row. We didnt have that issue with the opening act. We eventually had to move to the very back which sound much better than the front..
My first time seeing him live. I was blown away, him and the band gave a Great performance, looked like they had fun & enjoyed themselves. I do know I and the people around me did! Thank you. It was an Excellent great time! I will go again next time he passes through. Thank you.
An absolutely killed show as always. Ian never disappoints!! Awesome set list with new stuff as well as digging into the archives. Great to see you all again. Glad we could bring you breakfast before you hit the road, as is tradition.
