This man can make the magic happen.
Seeing the Australian born, twice Irish Eurovision winning legend Johnny Logan in concert was not something I thought I would be able to say and neither would me saying he has made me a very happy man, guess me and the girls have something in common after all. Those words would never be released from my lips, like a prisoner in maximum security, but you know what, taking a girl to see him has perks, so so so many perks!
This man has a voice that could melt the sun, yes the sun! his voice is that gentle, that calming, that soothing and just 'what can i say when my words are not enough'.
I was Standing there with such a beautiful girl, not knowing what in the world to say, even being an adult doesn't change the fact that nerves exist and sometimes you need a little help.
The singer began to sing 'Hold me Now' and something sparked inside of me, I grabbed the girl and held her close as tears streamed down her rosy cheeks. He followed this up with 'what's another year' and the atmosphere became that of what I can only compare to a Disney film. The lights went low and the crowd began to sway left and right like palm trees in the gentle breeze, the mood became romantic and I was just waiting for roses to fall from the ceiling.
I was happy the lovely lady I was with was happy and the performance soothed my soul, and I didn't even think souls were real!
Go and see Johnny Logan!
