• Tim Bendzko is twenty nine years old. In a world where Lorde is one of the most relevant pop stars in the world that may seem like a ripe old age but the truth is he was getting started in the business while the Royals singer was still sleeping in a cot. The Berlin native was writing his first songs when he was sixteen years old, winning talent competitions soon after and performing for 20’000 people when he was twenty four years old. Yeah, he may have nearly a decade’s worth of years on most of the world’s biggest pop starts but all that means is that he’s a true veteran by anyone’s standards, easily giving him the time to reach the 10’000 hours of practise that’s apparently needed to truly master a craft. Need proof that he’s at that point? One must only watch him live. It stands to reason that the only reason he might be nervous before going onstage at this point is because he cares so much about giving his audience and his fans a good time. His charisma is effortless, and the way he wraps his delectable voice around his 80’s inflected pop gems shines of hard earned confidence. He has the kind of presence where he doesn’t need to do outlandish stage moves for attention, he knows it’s fixed on him and he’s good enough to give anyone who watches him one hell of a concert. One to see as soon as possible!
