The concert itself was awesome, but the venue was a bit strange. When I bought the tickets, I thought Alex Lahey would be the only one playing 8 -10. I got to the venue and two other artists were opening and the person I came to see was only playing at 10 - 11. It was okay since I needed to eat dinner, but when we walked in around 9 for the Pronoun opener, I was disappointed by the area. It was good with its temperature (so many fans and water stations), but there was a lack of accessibility. There was no where to sit and nothing to do in between acts. Only after figuring out the bathrooms were on the second floor did I discover the artists were signing and selling merch. Pronoun had an hour to preform but ended 30 minutes early, so we had to wait 90 minutes for Alex to perform. She came on and it was amazing. The staff was helpful especially when she broke a guitar string. I was impressed on how close to the stage I was able to get and on how the loud music did not overwhelm the lyrics. The music was as good as and better than my Spotify playlist for her.
