Peter Cincotti came to perform in my area and since I had been listening to his newest album as of late I knew that I wanted to see him play. His album East of Angel Town was a favorite of mine because of the beautiful piano playing by Peter. Peter has been playing the piano for a very long time and it shows in the complexity of his notes. His voice live that goes along with the piano playing was a concert that was unforgettable.
Peter came to the stage very confidently and professionally and sat down at his piano and began to play for us. I was seated in the middle of the crowd and I was clapping for him before he even started to perform his music. I felt honoured to be in the presence of such a talented, yet young musician. The crowd gave him a standing ovation after he played the song 'My Favorite Time Of Year' which was on his first and most well known album at the time.
I could tell that everyone around me was enjoying the show. The couple beside me said that they had only briefly heard about Peter but they were now big fans after seeing him. At the end of his songs he gave us a bow and we all clapped for several minutes. Not only is Peter a greatly talented musician he is also a gentleman. I had a great time seeing him live.
