Nick Hakim

Nick Hakim is such an amazing writer and singer and he's surrounded himself with some beautifully talented players.
Last night he came on and captivated the audience at Koko from the 1st note.
He then proceeded to get totally twatted on god knows what. By half way through the set he was clearly tripping his nuts off, mumbling and falling about. It was quite rock'n'roll but a bit annoying. The music definitely didn't get better as he got higher.
I'd still go and see him again but maybe I'd also get high just to be on his level. If you can't beat 'em...
