Daley is an enigmatic presence on stage, working with the crowd and really opening himself up during the performance. The openness and honesty in his performance really helps to elevate the songs to another level – expect to see some emotional faces in the audience. The songs are perhaps even better live than on record, boosted massively by the presence of an air-tight backing band. Helping to infuse Daley’s hits with an exaggerated groove and soul, it helps to give the set a funked-out swagger and helps to broaden the appeal to all types of people.
