Grindhorse83 is a high-energy 5-piece band that burst out from its shell and scuttled onto the South Wales music scene in early 2024, delivering a unique fusion of surf rock with elements of undistorted "true death" metal and doom, hardcore punk and gypsy jazz, defining them as the pioneers of the first wave of "Surfsploitation Horror Rock". Drawing inspiration from the thrills of B-movie horror and art, Grindhorse83 fully embrace their hybridized amalgamation of influences. Their first live performance left the bar dry and the audience fully engaged, with the crab-claw-clap, beach ball antics and lots of scuttling.
