Julian Taylor

Julian Taylor is one of the most compelling and versatile singer-songwriters in Canada. A JUNO-nominated artist of Mohawk and Caribbean descent, he weaves rock, folk, soul, and country together with an emotional honesty entirely his own. A fixture of the Canadian music scene for over 25 years, Taylor broke through to a whole new audience with his 2020 solo album The Ridge – earning two JUNO nominations, the Canadian Folk Music Award for Solo Artist of the Year, and a Polaris Music Prize nomination – and confirmed his standing with Beyond the Reservoir and his 2024 release Pathways.
