Runner Runner

Runner Runner, a pop rock band from California, is one of my favorite groups. I first saw them on the Late Show with David Letterman singing "So Obvious," and that's where they caught my attention. I was pleasantly surprised to see they would be playing at the Roxy Theatre in February, 2012, so I bought a ticket and went.The audience was filled with ladies of all ages. Why not, especially because this band is full of good looking young men. One of the things I noticed first is that those guys are even better looking in person, which I didn't think was possible.Ryan Ogren can sing! His voice is so pure, mesmerizing, and emotional. Ogren kept the crowd going, song after song, and the audience really went crazy when he sang "Unstoppable." Runner Runner played songs from their self-titled album, and kept the audience screaming with delight for a full two hours.Their perfect hair and tight black, seemingly painted on pants were the perfect visual to accompany the delightful set of songs. Runner Runner is entertaining to say the least. A couple of hours of good fun and great music left me feeling the money I spent on my ticket was money well spent.
