Eyre Llew always manage to excite the senses, providing a great spectacle and audio experience. Having seen them many times, they have blown audiences away in all sizes of venue, like the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury where they not only opened the festival in 2019 but played the closing set after the weekend, being the final act of the event. The music is amazing, and the series of videos they produced to the release of the singles were glorious, adding a visual track that enhances the music. These boys deserve to get the break into the big time, and can match many of the big names they are sometimes compared with note for note. From the blistering highs of the audience favourite Edca to the searing sadness of The Deep, or the one that makes me emotional every time, Atelo. If you have not witnessed this band get along to a gig where you will not be disappointed.
Forth time seeing Eyre Llew and everytime has been a pleasure. A mixture of Sigur Ros, Bon Iver and a host of other wonderful bands that manage to make the most incredible sound with what looks minimal effort. Much like some of their fellow ambient bands, the vocals are another instrument, adding further layers to their sound. Seriously underrated band that really do deserve a much bigger audience, surely that's only a matter of time
