Le contrebassiste Félix Zurstrassen fait son grand retour au PBA avec un concert exceptionnel en compagnie de deux figures majeures du jazz américain de ces deux dernières décennies : le pianiste Aaron Parks et le batteur Jeff Ballard. 
Leur première rencontre remonte à mai 2024 au festival international Like A Jazz Machine (Luxembourg), lors d’un concert exclusif du quintette NOVA de Félix Zurstrassen, avec Parks et Ballard en invités.
Fasciné depuis toujours par l’art du trio, et en particulier par les formations dirigées par des pianistes tels que Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea ou encore Brad Mehldau, le musicien belge dédie ce concert à cette formation emblématique en invitant une nouvelle fois Aaron Parks et Jeff Ballard à le rejoindre.
Une occasion inédite pour ces trois artistes de se retrouver en trio autour d’un répertoire, conçu en étroite collaboration avec Aaron Parks et de laisser la magie du jazz opérer.

Double bassist Félix Zurstrassen makes his long-awaited return to the PBA with an exceptional concert, joined by two leading figures of American jazz from the past two decades: pianist Aaron Parks and drummer Jeff Ballard.
Their first encounter dates back to May 2024 at the Like A Jazz Machine International Festival (Luxembourg), during an exclusive concert of Félix Zurstrassen’s NOVA quintet, with Parks and Ballard as special guests.
A lifelong admirer of the trio format—particularly those led by pianists such as Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea, and Brad Mehldau—the Belgian musician dedicates this concert to that emblematic ensemble, once again inviting Aaron Parks and Jeff Ballard to share the stage.
This rare occasion brings the three artists together as a trio around a repertoire developed in close collaboration with Aaron Parks, allowing the magic of jazz to unfold.
