Stick Men at Shank Hall 27 October 2014 Just a fantastic show in all respects. Great musicianship, excellent songs, and a wonderful level of engagement with the audience. So nice to see a band that is having fun on stage and that joy could be felt throughout their performance. They were kind enough to come out and hang with fans after the show, taking photos, giving autographs and having a great time. Really impressed with the guys and respect them even more than I did before seeing the show. Big thanks to Tony, Pat and Markus!
What made this show so great is that the band went into the audience for a meet and greet after the show. Signed autographs and took pictures. This is a must see show for King Crimson fans, and recommended for anyone interested in progressive rock.
As for the show itself, they played for about 75 minutes and played 3 songs by King Crimson, including the encore, Larks Tongue in Aspic pt 2. The rest of the material was all original, some better than others, but all enjoyable. Not great singers, but you're at the wrong concert if you're going for that. You won't find too many better musicians than this trio.
