Marcus King

This band is for real from the moment they take the stage til the moment they walk off. The show was a perfect blend of rock, blues and grooves. Marcus King has pipes on him reminiscent of Fogerty/Joplin/Stapleton and rips on the guitar like Stevie Ray. The kid is the real deal. The band are all amazing musicians as well and they all compliment each other showcasing their skills by taking turns sharing solos. This is a show I definitely would recommend to any true music lover!!! Especially if they are fans of loud southern rock that tends to cause people to smile and dance. I have a feeling many more people will know of Marcus King Band in years to come.

The band was the BOMB!! Great energy, wide range of musical influences, great medley's, highly talented musicians. I would see them again but not at that venue.
The sound mix ( instrument seperation )was good, but the quality of the sound was terrible. Really detracted from the show. I'm sure if Marcus and his musicians heard the sound he would have disappointed.

Marcus King is a one of kind musician, fabulous voice and incredible guitar work. He puts on a great show as he did Tuesday night, non-stop for more than 2 hours. At 23, he is something to see, do not miss the chance to see him if he comes to your town or close by. With mentors like Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks, you have a superstar in the making.

Just amazing. These guys are wise beyond their years. I’ve seen about 60 shows this year and it was, by far, the best one. Definitely in my top 5 of all time. And that includes some big names! So amazing. Seeing them twice in one week and can’t wait. Catch these guys when you can. They always do a different set and it’s amazing every time!

Outstanding musician. Only 22 years old but you'd think he had been playing music professionally for 22 years. Excellent soulful voice, excellent guitar playing skills and gets the crowd involved. 10/10 would recommend, can't wait until he tours the UK again in the future. Met him after the show too and was very nice.

The band and Marcus are quiet simply brilliant. Especially liked their nod to Little Feat, for what I could hear of it anyway. The sound was appalling however. A combination of a really badly designed (house) system and an engineer who seemed to be struggling with it made the event pretty hard to enjoy.

Have watched this young man get better and better since 2011! He opened for Johnny Winter in 2011.... destined for greatness!!! Everyone in his band is top notch and once you see and hear them .. you’ll be a fan too!! Catch them live and tell your friends... Marcus King Band is coming for you!!

Marcus is a legend in the making. I expect nothing but greatness for many years to come. As an opening act his time was limited, but he displayed the guitar chops that makes him in my opinion one of the better young guitarist around. Will go see him again for sure.

This band kicks ass. Marcus is an amazing guitar player. The band has a lot of energy. Too bad he was the first opener for Chris Stapleton and only played for a total of 26 minutes. Would’ve definitely like to listen to them longer and and a smaller venue.
