For most part, there’s no better place for a band to be than their tenth anniversary. It means that the band has proved themselves to have staying power, talent, commitment and dedication but it also means that their best work might be yet to come, After all, a ten year old Rolling Stones made Exile On Main Street, Ziggy Stardust was made after Bowie had been in the music industry for a decade. More recently, an eleven year old Arctic Monkeys made the record that made them stars the world over with AM. Taking after them is Milanese pop rock band Moda, who just keep going from strength to strength twelve years after their formation. Want to see them at their best? Then their live show is where it’s at. Their orchestral pop rock has made them one of the biggest bands in Italy for a very good reason and it sounds truly magical in the live arena, from every dramatic flourish of the band to every keening high note from singer Francesco Silvestre. Their time together has formed a truly timeless rock band with an almost telepathic chemistry with each other, and to see them now is to seem them at their prime. Highly recommended.
