Having the chance to see a country legend like George Strait was something that I knew that I could not miss. As with most country singers he came onto the stage with a black cowboy hat on and holding his guitar. All of us were screaming as he started to play his guitar on the first song 'Run'.
His voice was a deep country voice that matched the album exactly and the atmosphere of the venue was set up perfectly for George. He was in the middle of the venue and there were LCD screens that surrounded the venue that had him zoomed in on there. The lights were constantly on George and highlighting his playing. George, besides the cowboy hat, looked very professional by wearing his button down shirt. He also would wave to members in the crowd that were in the front row.
I waved to him during his second song and he noticed me and waved back even though we do not know each other personally. George was also looking all around the crowd and waving at us too acknowledging us as he played. After he would say parts of his songs and stop singing we would all cheer for him as we were thankful to hear his voice.
