DeWolff is such an original band that hails from The Netherlands’ deep south, made up of brothers, Pablo and Luka van de Poel and Robin Piso. Their psychedelic sound has made some pretty big waves internationally, especially in Europe. They’re one of those bands that are annoyingly young, and have performed at Europe’s older music festival, Pinkpop in front of 10,000 people.
Tonight, the vibe is fun with DeWolff, giving exuding their southern American drawling rock sound, to an audience that are drinking throughout, getting gradually more rowdy as the night goes on. They perform some of their biggest hits, inspiring some fantastic sing a longs with songs such as “Don’t You Go Up The Sky”, which has a fantastic moment towards that end that sort of turns into a jam with each member taking sixteen bars of solos, earning themselves each a massive applause for their efforts. “Stand Up Tall” finishes the set in great style, opening with such a big riff, and finishing with great style rounding the proceedings off nicely.
