Song kick wanted to know if there were any "wild antics" at the show last night. There was nothing but—Mr Bassman and Mr. Keys, I'm especially talking about you.
Loud, but really clean sound, the excellent new album got plenty of airtime and the band brought the energy.
My only complaint has nothing to do with the band. There is purportedly graffiti in the dressing room of the Cat's Cradle that states "If they are standing there with their arms folded that means they like you." It's not like people didn't clap at the end of the song, but this is fist-pumping, head-banging rock and roll—would it kill you to show some emotion? Rock and roll should be about cutting loose and having a good time, and honestly, with some folks it was hard to tell. A band feeds off crowd energy, when the crowd is as into as the band is, the show is better for everyone. OK, that ends that. White Reaper was really good and I will totally see them again.
