It is one of those all night events, something along the lines of that night called hospitality that goes on until 4pm, but it doesn’t matter because the double Grammy Award nominee Rupert Parks, better known as Photek will always keep the party going. His accolades enough would be enough to keep you up all night in astonishment, with remixing credits such as Daft Punk, Nine Inch Nails, Moby, Lana Del Rey, David Bowie, Bob Marley and Bjork. Not a bad CV at all. He has plenty of credits in feature films and television shows. No wonder he is based in Los Angeles. Everyone needs those gigs that keep them humble, and this is definitely just another day at the office for Photek. He performs a slew of hits of his own, working remixes into the set too, especially the unsuspecting songs such as “Ride” by Lana Del Rey, and “One Love” by Bob Marley. He receives the same amount of appreciation for each track, if a little more for his own material.
