Renaissance is a progressive rock band that hails from England. They have a very individual sound that is somewhat similar to that of Fleetwood Mac, but a little bit less mainstream. They combine male and female vocals in their songs, but they of course get ever so experimental with their sound too, with Annie Haslam dominating the sound waves with her enchanting voice, which she uses so well as an instrument too.
They’re back out on tour, making an impression on people who were her fans back in the day with their clever writing an virtuosity, playing through a mixture of songs such as “New Day” which still has a very memorable riff played on the guitar and then later paired with the keyboards before launching into the verse, lead by Haslam. “Can’t Ignore Me” is the song that makes this audience get up and party, making everyone have a good time. It’s such a great opportunity to see them play live if you get the chance.
