Born in Nigeria and now living in London after having hosted parties as far afield as Beirut, Nicole Moudaber makes music as worldly as she is. Her career boomed after Carl Cox described her as ‘The Most underrated DJ’ and she always carries with her the spirit of rebellion, most notably showcased when she hosted numerous free parties in the middle east which were exciting enough to attract names as big as Paul Van Dyk (although this all didn’t exactly sit well with the police).
Nicole brings that sense of rebellious freedom to her DJ sets and always gets the crowd raving with reckless abandon. Playing with a mash of house and techno sounds, Nicole’s sets thump hard, with airy pads and percussion all bound together by the pounding four to the flour kicks that get the crowd’s chests rumbling. The sounds are deep and the audience reaction is fittingly euphoric and it’ll be no surprise to see some free-form shapes being thrown in the club whenever Nicole is playing. Nicole is Djing hard to revoke her status as underrated and be recognised as the talented performer she is.
