Loved the show specially liked the smoke and lasers !
Guest appearance by Wretch 32 for the new tune was big and of course the finale of Afterglow brought the house down .

The American trio of Ivy have had much success over the last 20 years, and every time a new track or album is released, I’m the first one to get my hands on it, so understandable when the indie pop group released their tour information, I was the proud owner of my tickets straight away. The groups innovative style gained them much credit and recognition in the late 90s, and they’ve maintained the success of Apartment Life throughout their career.
They took to the stage in their traditional set up, with Adam and Andy heading to their instruments, and Dominique taking the centre spot by her microphone. They began the show with Fascinating, and had the audience singing along to the hit from their newest album. The majority of the audience were familiar with all of their work, but those who only seemed to know the newer tracks, appeared to enjoy the entire concert regardless. They played a great selection of the older hits and their newer material from All Hours and In the Clear.
Their interaction with the audience seemed a little shaky at the start of the show, but once they’d warmed up and the crowd were singing along, they became more enthusiastic, shouting out and encouraging dancing

I am the victim of your false advertisement online and because of this I have lost £150.

SongKick advertised to me via email on the 13/02 that one of my favourite artists was playing at the Ministry of Sound on the 16/02. This was the night before my birthday and thought it would be a great surprise to my friends if I took them that night. I booked tickets to see Redlight for £29.12 each and the total was £145.60 which is allot of money for the size of the artist but I didn’t mind as it was on my birthday. For reference my booking number was 55477063. Upon receiving conformation I was informed I was seeing Idris Elba, I wasn’t sure who that was but understood after looking at the line up it was another act on. Redlight not being the main act was not a problem as I knew it would be scheduled before or after.

Incredibly on arrival after asking the bouncers when Redlight was on they were uniformed and had no clue to who it was but could only tell me a time that Idris Elba was on. I asked countless staff there including reception and security and everyone was playing dumb telling me they have never heard of Redlight and didn’t think that anyone called Redlight was playing that evening. Very upset once in the club that I had been falsely advertised to it ruined my birthday.

Ministry of sound played a brilliant trick with there staff asking them to act clueless on the situation. I have come across this before but simply a answer of “Redlight has cancelled here is a refund” or “Redlight was falsely advertised to you, here is your refund” would have worked but you have made the situation worse by doing so.

I have attached all information displaying all the false advertisement you have committed and would like a full refund. This refund will be for falsely promising Redlight would be there, asking your staff to lie to me about the act not being there, ruining my birthday and wasting my time. I will let SongKick know what you have done and will be taking serious action if this refund is not processed as soon as possible.

I Look forward to hearing from you and SongKick. Meanwhile I will be writing reviews for both SongKick and Ministry of Sound.
