Whitney Houston is one of the best voices of all time. While that might be a bold statement, few can hardly make a case that she isn’t.
From the moment she started singing in her church choir in Newark, New Jersey, at a young age, Whitney blew away just about anyone who would listen to her. And it was the strength in her voice and expansive vocal range that grabbed everyone’s attention and kept it. Whitney has had a successful career in both music and acting. She released six full-length studio albums, four original movie soundtracks and one Christmas album. With such an expansive song catalogue, one can never be sure what her set list would look like as she has so much to choose from. However, Whitney can’t deny her fans of the memorable hits such as ‘I Will Always Love You,’ ‘I’m Every Woman,’ ‘How Will I Know’ and ‘Saving All My Love for You.’ And she really exuded so much energy at her gigs and made sure to get her fans involved -- whether it’s to let them sing some of the lyrics into her mic or even just by conversing with them between songs. While she is no longer with us, Whitney has not only been able to play just about every stage in the world but has also sold millions of records worldwide. And it’s this success that will keep her at legend status.
