When an artist has been nominated for Grammy awards, you know that they’re incredible before even listening to their music. For me, I had incredibly high expectations of Rosario, as I knew she had 2 Latin Grammy’s under her belt, and when I first listened to Parte De Mi, I’m pleased to say I wasn’t at all disappointed! Rosario is from a musical background, and some may think that this casts a shadow over the Latin pop singer, but she’s made her own way with her music, and has produced some incredible tracks. With such a vast back catalogue of tracks, I wasn’t sure where she was going to start, or how she was going to pick her set, but she did so wonderfully. She opened with the Grammy Award winning track, Muchas Flores, and blew everyone away. Half way through the song, she stopped to introduce herself and the show, whilst the band continued playing over the top of her. She then launched into the rest of the song, without further ado, and even played the last chorus twice for everyone to sing along.
Her voice is incredibly powerful and controlled, and she was great at getting everyone on board to sing along with her. She then played through a selection of her tracks, going right back to De Ley, her first studio album, and worked right through to the 2013 Yo Me Niego. It was a perfect variety of tracks, and she had the entire audience captivated.
Unbelievable. Rosario and Lolita are the best artists i have seen live in a very long time. NOT TO BE MISSED.if you have the chance to attend sny of their concerts, don't miss it.
