Sunny Australian indie dance quartet Panama have been making waves in the blogosphere throughout 2014. Releasing a selection of EPs, 'Always' and 'Its Not Over' drew attention to the nu disco pioneers, yet it was the 80's tinged single 'Stay Forever' which seemed to gain the boys even further acclaim out of their native homeland.
The spanning choruses and building drum beats that make up the verses are just a small taste of what to expect from their highly anticipated debut album. The quartet had a chance to test the waters here in the UK earlier in the summer when they were invited to perform on Radio 1's Dance Stage at Reading & Leeds Festival. A huge deal for a new band and they drew a big crowd to their mid-afternoon set due to their energetic performance onstage and exciting visuals which help to intensify the cinematic qualities of their early releases.
Later performing a sold out show at London's Hoxton Bar & Kitchen, where many indie darling cut their teeth, the boys once again impressed crowds with their summery sound. Assured to be returning soon, you can join their almost forty thousand Facebook fans for all the latest updates and I highly recommend grabbing tickets when they tour near you.
