Venue info

El Rey is a music venue housed in a 1930s Art Deco building on Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles. It was built in 1936 and was used as a movie theatre for 50 years. The theatre was then used as a dance venue through the 80s. The building was listed as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 1991. El Rey has a 700 person capacity allowing for truly special, intimate concert performances. There is a diner style cafe on site with outdoor seating. Professional cameras are not allowed in the venue. El Rey welcomes guests of all ages.
